The application prospect of industrial robot in cold rolling plant is analyzed,and the importance of industrial robot is expounded from three aspects of uncoiling,galvanizing process and style handling.Based on the real data after the application of industrial robot in a cold rolling plant,the benefit estimation is made to verify that the application of industrial robot can significantly reduce the cost input,Finally,combining the current application of industrial robots in cold rolling plants and the prediction of future development trend,it is proposed that the robots in cold rolling plants should be optimized in three aspects:industrial service,scene recognition and motion control.
