二百多年前,当烟台人郝懿行为《山海经》作笺疏时,因见《东山经》中记录了一种“其状如倏”的箴鱼,便忍不住标上一笔:“今登莱海中有箴梁鱼,碧色而长,其骨亦碧,其喙如箴,以此得名。”身为烟台人,郝懿行显然对家乡的鱼鲜是极为钟爱的。故此,他才特意写就了一部《记海错》,录入了四十多种鱼类,成为古代山东唯一一部专门辨识海洋生物的专著,也留下了一段清朝时期烟台人的舌尖记忆。除却栖霞市,烟台各地几乎都有海湾,海产鱼鲜极为丰盛。如今的烟台有个宣传口号:“仙境海岸,鲜美烟台”。
