This paper demonstrates the compatibility between rural social work and rural vitalization in terms of function logic and value logic, focuses on the two aspects of energy enhancement development and humanistic care, and puts forward the specific functions of rural social work in rural vitalization: excavate endogenous driving force and establish subject consciousness;rebuild social capital and enhance cooperation ability;care about the vulnerable groups in rural areas and give full play to the professional advantages of social work;reshape the rural culture and enhance the community belonging of residents;and abide by the professional value and weaken the professional context.
