Application of RSO Test in Fault Diagnosis and Insulation Evaluation of Rotor Windings

RSO测试能诊断大电机转子匝间短路故障并评价绕组的绝缘形态。基于行波理论的RSO测试较传统方法更简单、更准确、更直观,现已成为检测大电机转子绕组运行状态的重要手段。结合某厂检测两台大电机转子绕组绝缘状态,对RSO测试应用的优势性和有效性做进一步研究。

RSO test can diagnose the interturn short-circuit fault of large motor rotor and evaluate the insulation state of windings.RSO test method based on the traveling wave theory is simpler,more accurate and more intuitive than traditional methods,which has become an important means to detect the operation state of rotor windings of large motors.Combining with the insulation status of rotor windings of two large motors tested by a factory,this paper further studies the advantages and effectiveness of RSO test.
