背景资料:巴基斯坦伊斯兰共和国地处南亚,东与印度毗邻,南面是印度洋,西与伊朗接壤,西北和阿富汗相连,东北面可通往中国的新疆。在巴基斯坦国语乌尔都语中,“巴基斯坦”意为“圣洁的土地”或“清真之国”。中巴是山水相依的友好邻邦,巴基斯坦是中国最坚定的盟友之一。1951年5月21日,中巴两国正式建立外交关系。1963年,两国签订首个贸易协定。2005年,两国建立战略合作伙伴关系。长时间以来,中巴友好合作关系经受住了国际风云变幻的影响,继续向前发展,并在当前由于经济合作的深化得到空前加强。
Pakistan has an enduring,multidimensional and deep-rooted brotherly relationship with China.The political and cultural ties are now further strengthened with enhanced focus on economic cooperation.Bilateral trade and commercial links between the two countries were established in January 1963 when the first bilateral long term trade agreement was signed.Pakistan accorded MFN status to China.China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement(CPFTA)was signed in 2006,covering trade in goods and investment.FTA on Trade in Services was signed in 2009.
