This paper introduces the specific steps and technical realization of the restoration of Longmen Grottoes based on AR technology,and discusses the application of AR technology in the restoration of cultural relics.The experimental results show that the restoration method based on AR technology can better restore the original appearance of the grottoes,but also more intuitive and convenient.This restoration method has high practical value and promotion value,which is of great significance for the development of the field of cultural relics restoration.
