摘要
“文字”是贝尔曼翻译思想中的核心概念,“文字翻译”以文字为媒,旨在实现对作品整体意蕴与文学价值的迻译。然而,由于学界在概念层面的认识不清,“文字翻译”时常被缩减为一种简单的“逐字对译”,其丰富的诗学蕴含被非本质的观念遮蔽。本文尝试廓清贝尔曼理论视域中“文字”概念的内涵与外延,阐释其与西方文论中的“身体”和“节奏”概念的关联,进而探析“文字翻译”策略的诗学维度。
“Letter”is the core concept in Antoine Berman’s translation thoughts.“Translation of the letter”uses letter as the medium to realize the translation of the overall meanings and literary value of the work.However,due to the unclear understanding of the academic circles at the conceptual level,“translation of the letter”is often reduced to a simple“word-for-word translation”,its rich poetic connotation being obscured by non-essential ideas.This study attempts to clarify the connotation and denotation of the concept of“letter”in Berman’s theoretical horizon and expounds its connection with the concepts of“body”and“rhythm”in Western literary theories,in order to explore the poetic dimension of the“translation of the letter”strategy.
