Objective:To investigate the expression characteristics of UA/Cr and lipids and their correlation with the degree of airflow limitation in male patients with AECOPD by measuring urine acid(UA) creatinine(Cr) ratio(UA/Cr) and lipid metabolism levels in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD) of different severity. Methods:A total of 222 male patients with AECOPD hospitalized from January 2017 to October 2020,as well as 44 male patients with non-chronic airway disease hospitalized during the same period, were selected and relevant clinical data were collected, and renal function, lipid and pulmonary function tests were analyzed. Results:There was a correlation between UA/Cr and FEV_(1) and BMI in patients, with correlation coefficients r of-0.325 and 0.162.The poorer the lung function and the higher the body mass index, the more pronounced the increase in UA/Cr.No significant correlation was seen between UA/Cr and age and smoking history. In addition, there was a significant correlation between HDL cholesterol and FEV_(1)(r=-0.231).Conclusion:UA/Cr and HDL cholesterol may reflect to some extent the degree of airflow limitation in men with AECOPD.
