康奈尔大学对创业型大学办学理念的延展:以1977年为时间原点的考查 被引量:1

摘要 20世纪70年代,美国高等教育发展黄金期的大幕落下,大环境改变使得诸多大学陷入发展瓶颈。穷则思变,康奈尔大学在以坚守研究型大学底色为前提的发展过程中,实质上已然开始由研究型大学向创业型大学的转型。转型的顺利实现,与康奈尔大学对创业型大学办学理念的延展是分不开的。首先,康奈尔大学实现了以坚守科学研究理念为前提的办学理念创新。其次,康奈尔大学逐渐形成了适合创业型大学发展且具有自身特色的创新创业教育理念。最后,以顶层设计、统筹规划的形式阐释了创业型大学高质量发展理念。以上种种办学理念指导下的具体探索和实践,最终使得康奈尔大学在21世纪依然稳居世界高等教育领域第一方阵。 In the 1970s,the golden age of American higher education development came to an end.The environmental changes have brought grave challenges to universities.As adversity leads to change,Cornell University has essentially begun to transform from a research-oriented university to an entrepreneurial one on the premise of sticking to the research-oriented foundation.The smooth transformation cannot be achieved without Cornell university’s extension of the idea of running an entrepreneurial university.First of all,Cornell University has innovated its educational philosophy on the premise of sticking to the scientific research concept.Secondly,Cornell University has gradually formed an innovative entrepreneurial education concept with its own characteristics suitable for developing an entrepreneurial university.Thirdly,it explains the concept of high-quality development of entrepreneurial universities through top-level design and overall planning.The concrete exploration and practice under the guidance of the above-mentioned educational concepts finally make Cornell University firmly take first place in higher education in the 21st century.
