On Civilization and Concept of Civilization

文明与文明观是国际学术界高度关注的重大学术问题。文明从文化发展而来,但又与文化有明显的不同。国家是文明的成果,它随着文明时代的到来而到来,但又在内涵、外延上与文明有别。正像世界的文明是多样的一样,世界的文明观也各不相同。文明没有优劣、高低之分,但文明观却有立场之导向,有是非、有曲直。

The civilization and concept of civilization are important issues to which the international academic circles pay close attention.Civilization develops from culture,but there’s different between them.State is the fruit of civilization,which comes with the advent of civilization,but it is different from civilization in connotation and extension.Just as civilizations are diverse,so are concepts of civilization all over world.There is neither lowliness nor nobleness in different civilizations,but the concepts of civilization have different value orientations.
