“三个务必”是习近平总书记在党的二十大报告开篇就对全党在新时代开启全面建设社会主义现代化国家、实现第二个百年奋斗目标新征程这一重要时刻提出的谆谆告诫,与新中国成立前夕毛泽东在党的七届二中全会上提出的“两个务必”既一脉相承,又与时俱进,是走好新的“赶考之路”的庄严宣誓,具有重大的时代意义和实践意义。“三个务必”从根本动力源泉、优良传统作风、独有精神品格三个层面建构了完成新时代新征程使命任务的基本遵循,并统一于全面建设社会主义现代化国家的实践之中。新时代新征程牢记“三个务必”,要求全党加强学习,筑牢思想根基;深入开展作风教育,完善作风建设长效机制;认清形势,准备经受各种风险考验。

The “three imperatives” is the sage advice given by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the beginning of the report of the 20th Party Congress to the whole Party at the important moment of starting a new journey of building a socialist modern country and achieving the second centennial goal in the new era. It can be traced to the same origin with the “two imperatives” put forward by Mao Zedong at the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh CPC Central Committee on the eve of the founding of the New China, which keeps pace with the times. It is a solemn oath to take the new “road to catch up with the tests”, with great significance of the times and practical significance. The “three imperatives” construct the basic guidelines for completing the mission and tasks of the new journey in the new era, from the fundamental source of motivation, excellent traditional style, and unique spiritual character, which is inherently unified in the practice of comprehensively building a socialist modern country. On the new journey in the new era, the demand of bearing in mind the “three imperatives” requires the entire Party to strengthen learning, build a solid ideological foundation, conduct in-depth work style education, improve the long-term mechanism of style construction, understand the current situations, and be ready to withstand all kinds of risks.
