With the change of market demand and the intensification of product competition,the frequency of powertrain replacement is higher and higher.In order to reduce research and development investment and the need for product diferentiation layout,Automobile manufacturers usually use the same engine to match diferent transmissions or the same transmission to match diferent engines to form diferent powertrain series products,so as to win the advantage in the severe market.This paper will elaborate the design of engine and transmission from the layout matching.I hope that it can provide some reference for the layout matching of engine and transmission in the industry.
