English is an international language,and some students are difficult to master because of the influence of their mother tongue.Microcourse is a new teaching method.Teachers use short videos to teach in the classroom teaching process.The use of micro-courses in English teaching can attract students’attention,stimulate students’interest in learning,improve the efficiency and quality of English teaching,and improve students’English literacy.The application of micro-courses in junior middle school English classes should adopt the following strategies:clarify the teaching focus,improve students’enthusiasm for learning,broaden the field of English learning,carry out targeted teaching,improve students’English application ability,create corresponding teaching situations,and improve students’English writing level and reading ability.
