This paper briefly introduces the composition,operation and maintenance of the klystron high power amplifier.In the composition,the four connection modes of main and standby machines are worthly paid attention to,and the precautions in operation and main alarm settings should also be paid attention to.The maintenance of fans that are prone to problems is highlighted.It is believed that the raising and solving of these problems will help the maintenance personnel of satellite earth station to correctly operate and maintain the klystron high power amplifier.
