立于白鹿洞书院门楣的《白鹿洞书院揭示》名扬天下,其所述内容包括“五教之目”“为学之序”“修身之要”“处事之要”“接物之要”,既体现了儒家教育思想的最高精义,同时也是朱熹书院德育思想的集萃。《白鹿洞书院揭示》流传至今,对今日青年德育工作仍具有启示作用。青年德育工作需要依据青年的发展阶段和情感需求,顺应时代的要求,切实地对青年进行科学性与人文性相结合的道德教育工作,以帮助青年身心健康发展。

The "Bailudong Academy Revelation", which stands on the lintel of BailudongAcademy, is famous all over the worldand its contents include "the five teachings", "the order of learning", "the importance of cultivating oneself", "the importance of handling things", and "the importance of receiving things", which embody the highest essence of Confucian educational thought and are also the collection of Zhu Xi’s moral education thought. The "Bailudong Academy Revelation" has been handed down to this day and is still an inspiration to today’s youth moral education. Youth moral education work needs to be based on the developmental stage and emotional needs of youth,in line with the requirements of the times, and to practically combine scientific and humanistic moral work with youth in order to help them develop physically and mentally.
