Based on the national strategy of innovation and entrepreneurship and the constantly developing health demands of the people,medical colleges and universities are playing an important role in innovation and entrepreneurship education.For patent system acts as an institutional guarantee for innovation and entrepreneurship,its education should go deep into the scientific research activities of medical students,especially graduate students.We here discuss the importance,function demands and training strategies of patent education,hoping to promote the understanding and attention of patent education,and promote teachers and students to produce high-quality patents in scientific research and lay the foundation for excellent innovation and entrepreneurship achievements.
