中国南沙群岛永暑礁蠓科2新种记述(双翅目:蠓科)

Description of two new midges(Diptera:Ceratopogonidae)from Yongshu Reef,Nansha Islands in China

目的为进一步了解海南省三沙市南沙群岛岛礁生物多样性资源,丰富蠓类昆虫种类,对永暑礁蠓种类进行了调查,记述了中国南沙群岛永暑礁的新蠓种。方法蠓成虫标本于2021年11月采用诱虫灯法采集于永暑礁室外,浸泡保存于75%酒精后带回实验室,制片后检视其形态特征,根据体长、触须和外生殖器等特征进行鉴定,并命名和描述。结果记述了分布在中国南沙群岛永暑礁的蠓科毛蠓属2新种,即:双叶毛蠓新种Dasyhelea(Dasyhelea)binifolius Yu&Shi,sp.nov和隐藏毛蠓新种D.(D.)celatus Yu&Shi,sp.nov。结论本研究首次记述了南沙群岛永暑礁的毛蠓属2新种,目前尚未在该地发现吸血蠓。模式标本现保存于中国人民解放军疾病预防控制中心。

Objective In order to further understand the biodiversity resources of Yongshu Reef(which is located in Nansha Islands,Sansha City,Hainan Province),and enrich the species of midges,the research team conducted a survey on midges’species on Yongshu Reef and recorded the new species of midges on Yongshu Reef of Nansha Islands,China.Methods The midge specimens were collected by light-trap in the field of Yongshu Reef in November 2021,preserved in75%alcohol and brought back to the laboratory.After making slide specimens,midge species were identified by morphological characteristics,such as body length,palpus and male genitalia.The new species was named and described.Results Two new species of midges in Yongshu Reef,Nansha Islands,China were recorded:Dasyhelea(Dasyhelea)binifolius Yu&Shi,sp.nov.;D.(D.)celatus Yu&Shi,sp.Nov.Conclusions This study is recorded for the first time of two new midge species in Yongshu Reef,Nansha Islands,China.No blood-sucking midges were found in the area.The holotypes are deposited at Chinese PLA Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
