西南余姓家谱中的神话及传说探究

A Study of the Myths and Legends in the Genealogy of the Yu Family in the Southwestern China

以西南余姓家谱中三个神话及一个经典传说为例,对家谱中常见神话的历史根源和文化价值进行探索性研究,结果发现,神话及传说均有其历史起源,在家谱中体现出特定的文化传承价值,是中国家谱的固有属性之一,不能以“迷信”为由进行简单的否定。面对家谱中的神话及传说,应持“理性的非理性”之态度,从历史的理性角度去解读神话及传说中非理性内容所蕴含的文化价值。

This paper has explored the historical roots and cultural values of common mythical stories in genealogies through the study of three mythical stories and a classic legend in the genealogy of Yu family in the southwestern China. The study has found that with their unique historical origins, myths and legends reflect specific cultural heritage values in genealogy, which is an inherent nature of Chinese genealogy, and therefore cannot be simply dismissed as "superstition". In the face of myths and legends in genealogy, a "rational irrationality" is needed to interpret the cultural values contained in the irrational contents of myths and legends from a rational historical perspective.
