The phrase "One yin and one yang is called the Way" is from the Book of Change. " The core of the philosophy of yin and yang is the unity and harmony of opposites, emphasizing the concept that contradictions are opposed to each other, interpenetrating and complementing each other. In the ceramic art system, the contradictory and unifi ed relationship between the wet and dry of the clay material, the strength and weakness of the casting, the thickness and thinness of the cutting, the dilution and concentration of the glaze, etc., refers to the mutual penetration, complementary, appropriate and moderate, which is the embodiment of the idea of " perfect harmony " in Eastern culture. There are two sides to everything, as the saying goes, " No yin is born alone, no yang grows alone. Just as a magnet always has N and S poles, a new N and S pole will emerge from the magnet after it is separated. This paper draws inspiration from the positive and negative poles, takes "harmony and perfection" as the entry point, reproduces the artistic philosophy of "Yin and Yang" in the East with ceramic materials, studies its aesthetic impact on Chinese ceramic art, and uses it to interpret traditional Chinese culture.
