On the Legal Protection for Guizhou to Build The National Model Area for Ethnic Unity and Progress

习近平总书记在党的二十大报告中指出,要以铸牢中华民族共同体意识为主线,坚定不移走中国特色解决民族问题的正确道路,加强和改进党的民族工作,全面推进民族团结进步事业。全国民族团结进步模范区是落实少数民族优惠政策,展现平等团结互助和谐社会主义民族关系的重要场域,是呈现各民族群众幸福生活的有效载体。“用法律保障民族团结”是习近平总书记关于民族工作的重要论述,是全面依法治国在民族工作领域的集中体现。贵州要建设全国民族团结进步模范区需要加强法治保障,从立法、执法、司法、守法四个方面着手大力推进模范区建设。

In the report of the 20th National congress of the communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out we should firmly and unswervingly follow the correct path of socialism with Chinese characteristics in dealing with ethnic issues, strengthen and improve the Party’s ethnic work, and comprehensively promote the cause of national unity and progress, taking the building of a strong sense of the Chinese national community as the main line. The National Model Area for Ethnic Unity and Progress is an important field for implementing preferential policies for ethnic minorities and showing equal solidarity, mutual assistance and harmonious socialist ethnic relations, and an effective carrier for presenting the happy life of all ethnic groups.“Safeguarding ethnic unity by law”is an important exposition of General Secretary Xi Jinping on ethnic work and a concentrated reflection of the comprehensive rule of law in the field of ethnic work. Guizhou,in order to build the National Model Area for Ethnic Unity and Progress, needs to strengthen the rule of legal protection, from legislation, law enforcement, justice, law-abiding to vigorously promote the model area construction.
