摘要
杨荔钠于1999年推出的DV纪录片《老头》,是中国独立影像创作的代表性作品。数字摄影机的优秀摄像性能、小镜头的便利性,以及朴素的视觉和听觉处理,体现了这部独立影像作品的技术基础和拍摄手法。作品内容呈现的独立性特质,则主要在于零度剪辑和非线性的板块式叙事结构两个方面。而其思想主题表达,指向的是对被忽视的边缘群体的关注和关怀,表现出作者独立于体制的、不同于主流意识形态的价值追求。在同质化明显的影像创作环境中,《老头》成为新纪录运动发轫期之后独立影像探索的典型产物,独立纪录片的纪实主义就在数字新媒介的帮助下重新显示其魅力,承担其责任。
DV documentary Old Men which is produced by Yang Lina in 1999,is one of the most representative Chinese independent image creations.The technological infrastructure and filming skills of this piece of independent image work are shown in the aspects of excellent camera shooting performance of digital camera,convenience of tiny lens,and simple visual and auditory treatment.The independent feature of this piece of work,mainly lies in two aspects:“zero-degree”editing,and nonlinear plate narrative structure.As for its theme expression,is the close attention and compassionate care to those neglected marginal population.It shows the author’s value pursue that is independent of the system and different from the mainstream ideology.In the environment of homogenized image creations,Old Men has become a typical case of independent image exploration after the origin of New Documentary Movement in China.It reflects that the spirit of independent documentaries shows its charm and takes its responsibility once again with the help of digital media.
