摘要
以往对称谓名词的研究多囿限于类别、词缀等问题的探讨上,较少针对某一特定封闭域进行定量分析。其实,即使词法模式相同的称谓名词内部也存在异质性。以“大/小+X”认知类指人名词为例,聚焦于词汇化结果这一向度上观照,这类词存在四种语义类别:描述人的内在品性、突显人的社会地位、强调人的属性特征、标指人的身份角色;聚焦于词汇化过程这一向度上考量,“大+X”与“小+X”在音节数目、组配能力及语义生成机制这三个方面都存在着不对称性,这些不对称现象可以从“大”与“小”的语义特征和有无标记两方面得到解释。
Previous studies on appellation nouns were mostly limited to the discussion of categories,affixes and other issues,quantitative analysis of a specific closed domain was seldom carried out.In fact,even the appellation nouns with the same lexical pattern have heterogeneity.Taking the"Da/Xiao(大/小)+X"cognitive appellation nouns as an example,focusing on the dimension of lexicalization results,there are four semantic categories of such words:describing the characters of man,highlighting the status of man,emphasis on the characteristics of man,referring the roles of man.Focusing on the dimension of lexicalization process,"Da(大)+X"cognitive appellation nouns and"Xiao(小)+X"cognitive appellation nouns have asymmetry in the number of syllables,collocation ability and semantic generation mechanism.These asymmetry phenomena can be explained by the semantic features of"Da(大)"and"Xiao(小)"and the presence or absence of markers.
