猪是优质蛋白的主要来源,全球猪肉的需要量日益增长,但是猪的供应遭到各种传染病的威胁,导致猪肉质量下降或供应不足,目前非洲猪瘟(ASF)是最严重的传染病之一。非洲猪瘟在非洲以外的欧洲、俄罗斯及中国、越南等地持续蔓延,非洲猪瘟病毒(ASFV)感染后会造成易感动物大面积死亡,其疫苗还处于研发阶段,使得目前的防控前景更加艰难,这种毁灭性疾病对全球养猪业与粮食安全造成极大的威胁,所以探索新的防治非洲猪瘟的方法与阻断其传播显得尤为重要。

Pig is the main source of high-quality protein.The global demand for pork is increasing.However,the supply of pigs has been threatened by various infectious diseases,resulting in the decline of pork quality or insufficient supply.At present,African swine fever(ASF)is one of the most serious infectious diseases.African swine fever continues to spread in Europe,Russia,China,Vietnam and other places outside Africa.The infection of African swine fever virus(ASFV)will cause a large number of deaths of vulnerable animals.At the same time,the vaccine of African swine fever is still in the development stage,making the current prevention and control prospects more difficult.This devastating disease poses a great threat to the global pig industry and food security,Therefore,it is particularly important to explore new methods to prevent and control swine fever in Africa and to block its transmission.
