慢性肾病具有中医“复合病机”的特点,周仲瑛教授善从多脏同病、多因复合、从类论治3个方面把握病机,多脏同病即肺论体用、肾分虚邪、肝分体用不足、心脾两伤等。多因复合包括风、湿、热、痰、瘀、毒、虚等病理因素胶合。从类论治是从患者体质、先天之本、环境等主客观信息考虑随证加减处方,实现对慢性肾病的灵活辨证,提高辨治准确率及临床疗效。

Chronic kidney disease has the characteristics of "complex pathogenesis" of traditional Chinese medicine.Professor Zhou Zhongying is good at grasping the pathogenesis from three aspects, namely, treating the same disease of multiple organs, the combination of multiple causes, and the treatment of different types.Specifically, the same disease may relate to multiple organs, namely, the noumenon and function the Lung, the deficiency and pathogenic factors related to the Kidney, the insufficiency of the noumenon and function of the Liver, and the injury of the Heart and Spleen.The multiple causes include Wind, Dampness, Heat, Phlegm, blood stasis, toxin, deficiency and other pathological factors.Treatment based on category means to modify prescriptions according to the patient′s physique, the congenital conditions of Kidney, environment and other subjective and objective information, so as to achieve flexible syndrome differentiation of chronic disease of Kidney and improve the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment as well as clinical efficacy.
