By comparing works of Le Corbusier with those of other members of the Paris School,and studying the ex-changes between architects of Paris School and other archi-tects in Europe,the paper reveals that Le Corbusier's architec-tural achievements are not isolated phenomena.And we must study the context of the Paris School,a group of architects with similar ideas and approaches,and in the unique scientific and artistic ecosystem of Paris,in order to understand the so-cial basis on which Le Corbusier’s architectural achievements are based and his unique contribution to modern architecture.
