“七七”事变后,抗日战争全面爆发,基于“战时当作平时看”的教育方针,国民政府教育部在大后方集中创办国立中学。在当时,国立中学之所以能够在条件艰苦的大后方重振弦歌,并且办学质量优异,与其注重继承优良办学传统,严格遴选学有专长、极富教学艺术的教师队伍,办学尊重育人规律,注重形成办学特色,重视培养学生全面发展密切相关。作为抗战时期西北联大研究和国立中学大后方办学研究的重要组成部分,国立西北师范学院附中办学过程中形成的校史故事是构建与还原其办学图景不可或缺的历史资源。从故事重新进入历史,再现烽火年代附中艰难办学和作育人材的精神风貌,不仅可加深对中学培育人才成长规律的认识,而且对于传承汉中抗战历史文化,讲好汉中故事具有理论意义与实践价值。
