中国文论话语体系的建构——从《文心雕龙》英译谈起

Construction of Discourse System of Chinese Literary Theory: Starting from the English translation of Wenxin Diaolong

《文心雕龙》在英语世界的成功译介说明要想与西方文论进行平等对话,必须要拥有话语权,中国需要有一套自己特色的文论话语体系。然而体系建构是一项系统工程,需要做好四个方面的工作:一是对中国古代文论进行现代化的适应性转换;二是对西方文论进行本土化改造;三是秉持文化自信的理念,积极推动中国文论走出去;四是立足中国现实,扎根本土实践,让中国文论为中国文学实践服务,以文学实践为根本,防止文学理论与文学实践的脱节。中国当代文论必须进行话语重建,走从文本到实践再到理论生成的正确路线。中国需要充分发挥文论建设的主体性,既要古为今用,又要洋为中用,在理论与实践的双向互动中不断推陈出新,构建中国特色的文论话语体系。

The successful translation of and introduction to Wenxin Diaolong in the English world shows that China needs to have its own discourse system of literary theory in order to have the discourse power and make an equal dialogue with western literary theory, and the system construction is a systematic process, which needs to do a good job in four aspects: first, the adaptive transformation of the modernization of ancient Chinese literary theories;second, the localization of western literary theory;third, upholding the concept of cultural self-confidence and actively promoting Chinese literary theory to go global;fourth, based on Chinese reality, taking root in local practice, letting Chinese literary theory serve Chinese literary practice, taking literary practice as the foundation, and preventing the disconnection between literary theory and literary practice. Chinese contemporary literary theory must carry out discourse reconstruction and take the correct route from text to practice and then to theory generation. We need to give full play to the subjectivity of literary theory construction, not only make the past serve the present, but also make foreign things serve China, and construct a discourse system of literary theory with Chinese characteristics in the interaction between theory and practice. The construction of Chinese literary theory needs unconventional innovation.
