Landscape Design of Make Village Park

马克村位于广州市南沙区东涌镇。东涌镇地处广州市南部珠江水道河网之中,是洲岛型沙田平原。这里曾是浩瀚的海洋,浅海成陆,围垦成田,居民多以渔为生,以舟为家,历经沧海桑田的东涌镇是极具岭南风情的水乡。该项目场地是水乡中一块不大的闲置用地,约8700m^(2),由村小学与村居围合而成,旨在改造为供村民休憩活动的乡村公园。场地地形平整,视线开阔,野草丛生,村民已种上了一些芭蕉与蔬菜,场地的尽头是一方幽静的水塘。

Make Villageis located in Dongchong Town,Nansha District,Guangzhou.Dongchong lies in the Pearl Riverwaterway network in the south of Guangzhou which is regarded as an island-type Shatin Plain.Historically,it used to be a vast ocean,and then the shallow sea became land,and the fields were reclaimed.Most of the residents here used to make a living from fishing and boats as their home.After many changes,Dongchong Town is now a charming water town witha strong Lingnan style.Make Village Park is a small piece of unused land in the water town,covering an area of about 8,7oo square meters,surrounded by the primary school and residences.It is hoped to be transformed into a park for villagers to have recreational activities.Inthe site,theterrain isflat,theview iswide,weeds are overgrown,and a quiet pond is at the end of the site.Many plantains and vegetables arealreadygrown bythevllagers in thesite.
