An Ecological Interpretation of Jim Crace’s Works

文章以生态批评为范式,对吉姆·克雷斯最负盛名亦极具生态哲思的作品进行交叉性与纵深性研究,试图将话语叙事铺展于小说文本本身及艺术创作的双重维度,积极寻找作品中富含的生态因子,解构人类中心主义,揭示后现代生态危机中生态失衡以及人类精神异化,并从生态话语与“荒野”叙事角度呈现文学的生态审美,从而创造可持续的文学生态视野。基于此,隐匿于“克雷斯幻境”背后的、恢宏的现世救赎启示以及生态人文情怀亦得以显现。

Based on the paradigm of ecological criticism,this paper conducts an intersective and in-depth research on Jim Crace’s most prestigious works with ecological thinking.It aims to carry out the discourse narrative based on the double dimension of literary text and artistic creation to actively seek for the ecological factors contained within the novels and deconstruct anthropocentrism as well as expose the postmodern ecological crisis,ecological imbalance and human spiritual alienation.What’s more,from the perspective of ecological discourse and“wilderness”narrative,the ecological aesthetic of literature is presented,so as to create a sustainable literary ecological vision.So far,the grand enlightenment of worldly salvation and ecological humanistic feelings hidden behind the“Craceland”can also be revealed.
