摘要
本文聚焦出口产品质量如何影响创新,基于中国工业企业与海关贸易的匹配数据研究发现,中国企业的出口产品质量提升会由于强化出口的积极效应、弱化出口的消极效应,显著促进企业创新;区分所有制后发现,相较于外资企业,国有和民营企业出口产品质量提升对创新的促进效应较大;区分出口贸易方式后发现,混合贸易出口企业对创新的促进效应要比一般贸易出口企业小;区分出口目的地后发现,相较于OECD等国家,中国企业对“一带一路”国家出口产品质量的提升对创新的促进作用更大。这意味着,出口产品质量的提升比只强调出口数量的提升对企业创新意义更大。
This paper focuses on how export product quality affects innovation,based on the matching data of trade between Chinese industrial enterprises and customs from 2000 to 2007,and the study finds that the improvement of export product quality of Chinese enterprises would significantly promote enterprise innovation by strengthening the positive effect of export and weakening the negative effect of export.After distinguishing ownership,it is found that compared with foreign-funded enterprises,the improvement of export product quality of state-owned and private enterprises has a greater promotion effect on innovation.After distinguishing export trade modes,it is found that the promotion effect of mixed trade export enterprises on innovation is smaller than that of pure general trade export enterprises.After distinguishing export destinations,it is found that compared with OECD and other countries,the improvement of export product quality of China’s enterprises in the the Belt and Road countries has a greater role in promoting innovation.This means that the improvement of the quality of export products is more significant for enterprise innovation than the increase of export quantity.
