A light heart is the core of prose composition,and also the element of literary creation and academic research. At present,the greatest achievement of Chinese prose is to inherit Chinese culture and literature,while the problem lies in dogmatism and nihilism. The blind obedience to the West and the bigotry to the theory should be corrected,and the Chinese way of thinking should be used to master the culture at all times and in all countries aesthetically,so as to build up confidence in Chinese prose. Wang Zhaosheng always follows the trend of prose creation and summarizes the historical process of prose writing.He not only replaces the theory of form and spirit in prose with the theory of heart,but also transcends humanism in literary with Daoism and naturalism,making important contributions to the development of Chinese prose.
