中泰文化差异对国际商务谈判的影响

The Influence of Cultural Differences between China and Thailand on International Business Negotiation

随着RCEP协议的签订,我国与泰国的经贸往来、文化交流将会呈现出更加热烈的发展态势。但是在进行国际商务谈判时,中泰文化差异造成的影响不可忽视。本文采用霍夫斯泰德文化维度理论和霍尔模式来研究两国的文化差异,得出泰国是权力距离较高、集体主义、不确定性回避较高等的国家,且是高语境、拥有多向性时间观念、重视规则的国家。通过进一步运用案例分析,最后提出了培养文化差异意识,提高跨文化敏感性;尊重双方文化差异;换位思考,合作共赢的正确应对文化差异的策略。

With the signing of the RCEP agreement,the economic and trade exchanges and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand will show a more enthusiastic development trend.However,when conducting international business negotiations,the impact of cultural differences between China and Thailand cannot be ignored.This paper uses Hofstede’s cultural dimension theory and Hall’s model to study the cultural differences between the two countries,and concludes that Thailand is a country with higher power distance,collectivism and higher uncertainty avoidance,and is a country with high context,multi-directional time concept and rules.Through further application of case analysis,it is finally proposed to cultivate awareness of cultural differences and improve crosscultural sensitivity;Respect the cultural differences between the two sides;The correct strategy to deal with cultural differences through empathy and win-win cooperation.
