To discuss the renewal of the concept of brain and heart simultaneous treatment and its clinical practice in primary hospitals.Retrospective analysis was conducted on the significance of brain and heart simultaneous treatment and the practical effect of establishing a new model of brain and heart simultaneous treatment discipline construction in primary hospitals.Results The new concept of“brain and heart simultaneous treatment”has achieved remarkable results in the clinical practice of primary hospitals,improved the medical service ability,and continuously met the medical service needs of the grass-roots population.Moreover,it promotes the policy of“optimizing the layout of regional urban and rural areas and curing the serious illness without leaving the province”.It is thus worth popularizing to renew the concept of brain and heart simultaneous treatment in primary hospitals and to put it into clinical practice.
