On the Literature Value of Collected Poems of Jiaoyunshan Museum

《蕉云山馆诗文集》为湘军将领、清山东巡抚陈士杰所著,藏于国家图书馆和南开大学图书馆,是为珍稀孤本。通过点校、整理该诗文集,并对其中的文献价值包括陈士杰的政治、军事成就,文学造诣等进行了初步探讨,同时为晚清的政治史、军事史、水利工程以及太平天国的研究提供了可供参考的个案。

Collected Poems of Jiaoyunshan Museum was written by Chen Shijie, a general of the Hunan Army and governor of Shandong province in the Qing Dynasty. It is a rare and unique book collected in the National Library and Nankai University Library. This paper discusses the literature value of this poetry collection, including his political and military achievements and literary attainments, and provides a reference case for the study of the political history, military history, hydraulic engineering and the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom(1851-1864) in the late Qing Dynasty.
