The research status of phase change materials in data center energy saving is reviewed.Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the energy consumption and phase change materials in the data center, explains the application significance of phase change materials in the data center, then describes the functions and application progress of phase change materials from the two aspects of data center cooling and energy storage, and finally prospects the development of phase change materials in the data center in the future, and provides relevant references for later research.
