There are many types and standards of special measuring tools for axles of rolling stock,and these standards can no longer meet the current axle quality control requirements.To this end,four standards for special measuring tools for axles of rolling stock have been integrated and revised to form TB/T 3576—2022 Special measuring tools for axles of rolling stock.This paper introduces the revision background,principles and basis of TB/T 3576—2022,describes the main revision contents in detail,and puts forward suggestions for the implementation of the standard,so that inspectors can correctly select measuring tools,expertly master operation methods,improve the accuracy and efficiency of inspection,and effectively control the quality of rolling stock axles.
