PHD2在食管鳞状细胞癌中的表达及临床意义

Expression of PHD2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and its correlation with clinicopathological characteristics

目的 探讨食管鳞癌中PHD2表达与患者临床病理特征及预后的关系。方法 采用免疫组化EnVision两步法检测160例食管鳞癌和86例癌旁组织中PHD2的表达情况,分析其表达水平与患者临床病理特征及预后的关系。结果 PHD2在食管鳞癌组织中的阳性率高于癌旁组织,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);PHD2表达水平在不同的食管鳞癌分化程度、浸润深度、淋巴结转移情况及肿瘤分期间差异有统计学意义;PHD2高表达组患者的预后较低表达组更差,且PHD2是食管鳞癌患者独立的预后危险因素。结论 食管鳞癌中PHD2的表达水平明显上调,且PHD2表达水平与具有侵袭性的生物学特征密切相关,提示PHD2在食管鳞癌恶性进展过程中发挥作用,为今后进一步研究食管鳞癌的发生发展机制提供实验依据及为临床提供有价值的预后信息。

Objective To explore the relationship between the expression of PHD2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of patients. Methods The expression of PHD2 in 160 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and 86 cases of paracancerous tissues were detected by immunohistochemical EnVision method. The relationship between the expression level and clinicopathological features and prognosis of patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was analyzed. Results The expression rate of PHD2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues was higher than in adjacent tissues, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The expression level of PHD2 was closely related to the degree of histological differentiation, depth of tumor invasion, lymph node metastasis and clinical tumor stage in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. The prognosis of patients in the high expression group of PHD2 was worse than that in the low expression group, and PHD2 was an independent prognostic risk factor for patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Conclusion The expression level of PHD2 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma is significantly up-regulated. The expression level of PHD2 is closely related to the invasive biological characteristics of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, suggesting that PHD2 plays a main role in the malignant progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, which will provide experimental evidence for further research on the occurrence and development mechanism of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and valuable prognostic information for clinicians in the future.
