民俗体育视野下“香火龙”的文化内涵及社会功能探析——基于湖南汝城调查

Analysis of the Cultural Connotation and Social Function of "the Incense Dragon Dance" from the Perspective of Folk Sports——Based on the Survey of Rucheng,Hunan Province

该文运用文献资料、田野调查、口述历史等多种方式,在文化人类学理论的支持下,以湖南汝城“香火龙”为案例,从历史学、文化学、民俗学、体育学等相关的理论,对“香火龙”所产生的文化内涵以及所承担的社会功能进行了初步探讨。结果表明,湖南汝城“香火龙”不仅是国风、民风于一体的民俗文化,更体现了宗族血缘、地缘的认同,象征坚韧、勇敢、自强不息的品质。并挖掘了“香火龙”的社会功能,“香火龙”具有增进民众凝聚力的功能、民族文化资源的经济功能、民族审美的娱乐功能、社会控制功能。

Using documentary materials,fieldwork,oral history and other methods,with the support of cultural anthropological theory,this paper takes "the Incense Dragon Dance" in Rucheng,Hunan Province as a case,and initially discusses the cultural connotation and social function of "the Incense Dragon Dance" from history,culturology,folklore,sports science and other related theories.The results show that "the Incense Dragon Dance" in Rucheng,Hunan Province is not only a folk culture integrating national style and folk custom,but also reflects the identity of clan blood and geography,and symbolizes the qualities of tenacity,courage and self-improvement.The social function of "the Incense Dragon Dance" is excavated,and "the Incense Dragon Dance" has the function of enhancing people’s cohesion,the economic function of national cultural resources,the entertainment function of national aesthetics and the function of social control.
