Taking a clear stance in maintaining political integrity is a distinctive feature of a Marxist party throughout the whole process of party development since its founding a century ago.The rationale of CPC's political work can be chiefly characterized as the four in-terrelated aspects:its starting point,its basis of new realities,its overarching objective and its implementation roadmaps.CPC's politi-cal work starts from preserving and developing its nature as a Marxist political party on the basis of the new challenges to its self-im-provement when entering into a new historical juncture,upholding the Party's political leadership as its primary goal and promoting the synergy between the ideological work,institution building and political oversight.In the new era,maintaining political integrity firmly as a Marxist party is a timeless theme for the Party in light of new realities,challenges to its self-improvement and the implementation mechanisms underpinned by the Party's core leadership,ideological work,institution building and political oversight.
