摘要
研究区位于利比里亚博米州(Bomi)东部山区,地层由前寒武纪基底和古—新生代盖层构成,北西-南东向构造发育,铁矿床大部分赋存于前寒武系条带状硅铁建造,磁铁矿相对围岩明显表现为低阻、高磁性特征。研究区通过地质测量、钻探、槽探等工作共圈定铁矿体43个,研究在前期地质工作的基础上,对矿区地质、矿体及矿石特征进行了详细总结,同时对研究区矿床成因及找矿方向进行了初步分析,为研究区下步地质找矿工作指明了方向。
The area is located in the eastern mountainous area of Bosi, Liberia. The strata are composed of Precambrian basement and Paleo-Cenozoic cap-rock. NW-SE trending structure is developed. Most of the iron deposits occur in the Precambrian banded ferrosilicon formation. Relative to wall rock, magnetite is characterized by low resistivity and high magnetism. Through geological survey, drilling, trenching and other work, 43 iron ore bodies were delineated in the study area. On the basis of previous geological work, the geology, ore body and ore characteristics of the mining area were summarized in detail. At the same time, the genesis and prospecting direction of the deposit in the study area were preliminarily analyzed, which pointed out the direction for the next geological prospecting work in this area.
