英语世界中国文学作品选集中苏诗编选研究——以《哥伦比亚文选》《诺顿中国文选》为例

A Study on the Compilation of Su Shi s Poetry in Anthologies of Chinese Literature in English-speaking World Taking The Columbia Anthology of Modern Chinese Literature and The Norton Anthology of Modern Chinese Literature

苏轼作为中国文学史上的集大成者,历来深受人们的推崇与喜爱,对其诗歌的研究与编译也经久不衰。在中国传统文学向世界各地传播的同时,苏轼其人、其诗也受到海外世界尤其是英语世界汉学家的重视,各类英译中国文学作品选集中选编苏诗的现象也层出不穷。在20世纪末期出版的两本具有代表性的英译中国文学作品选集便选入较多的苏诗,从诗歌编排、诗歌体裁与诗歌内容三个层面去分析其不同于国内的编选标准,有利于认识英译选集对苏轼其人、其诗的另类解读与多元化呈现。

As a master in the history of Chinese literature,Su Shi(1037-1101)has always been highly respected,and the research and compilation of his poetry are enduring.With the spread of Chinese traditional literature worldwide,Su Shi and his poetry are also highly valued by Sinologists in overseas countries,especially in English-speaking countries,while selecting and compiling Su Shi s poems into literary anthologies of Chinese-English translation are also popular.Two representative anthologies in English published at the end of the 20 th century had selected a large number of Su Shi s poems.This paper analyzes the standards of compilation different from those in China's Mainland from three aspects,i.e.,poetry arrangement,poetry genre and poetry content,respectively,to understand the alternative interpretation and diversified presentation of Su Shi s poems in English contexts.
