姚茫父《黎峨日记》残本

Li E's Diary by Yao Mangfu

姚茫父(1876—1930),别名姚华,字重光,贵州贵筑人,是清末书画家、诗人、词曲家、经史学家。《黎峨日记》残本的内容为姚茫父应贵州兴义刘官礼之聘出任笔山书院山长时,由作者本人记录的其自贵筑到兴义途中及笔山书院初期之事。本册《黎峨日记》残本,始于光绪寅年(1902)二月初八姚华自贵筑启程,讫于当年三月二十三日,其间缺失二月十五至二十三日这九天的内容,记录内容共三十五天。

Yao Mangfu(1876-1930),also known as Yao Hua and Chongguang,was a native of Guizhu Guizhou,who was a calligrapher,poet,lyricist,scribe and historian in the late Qing Dynasty.The remnants of the Li'e Diary are the author's own records of his own journey from Guizhu to Xingyi and the early days of the Pengshan Academy,when Yao Mang-father was hired by Liu Guanli in Xingyi,Guizhou,to be the head of the Academy.The present copy of the Li'e Diary begins with Yao Hua's departure from Guizhu on the eighth day of the second month of the year 1902 and ends on the twenty-third day of the third month of that year,during which nine days from the fifteenth to the twenty-third day of the second month are missing,making a total of thirty-five days.
