中国共产党过去之所以能够成功,归根到底是因为它是建立在马克思主义理论基础上的党;是因为党坚持“两个结合”,实现了马克思主义中国化时代化。“两个结合”是推进马克思主义中国化时代化的根本途径。中国化时代化的马克思主义既具备马克思主义的科学性、人民性、实践性、开放性等一切优秀品质,又获得了中国人民实践经验和中国优秀传统文化的滋养而得到极大发展,完全是马克思主义的,又完全是中国的,扎根在中国大地,转化成了物质力量。党今后要能继续成功,归根到底要靠以更加强烈的历史主动精神开辟马克思主义中国化时代化新境界。历史主动精神是主动推动历史前进的精神。工人阶级的历史主动精神是由其社会阶级地位所决定的、在马克思主义科学理论指引下主动推动历史向着共产主义社会大目标前进的精神,是理论创新和实践创新精神的统一。开辟马克思主义中国化时代化新境界,要坚持好、运用好习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的立场观点方法,要深入探究并自觉运用马克思主义理论创新的规律。
