Wuzhuyu Tang(吴茱萸汤)comes from Treatise on Febrile Diseases by ZHANG Zhongjing in Han Dynasty,which has the functions of warming the middle energizerto tonify deficiency,descending turbid substance and resolving fluid retention,and is mainly used for treating yangming cold vomiting,Jueyin headache,shaoyin vomitingand adverse flow of qi.Archiater HOU Chunguang excels at using classical prescription to treat pediatric diseases.He holds that the application of the prescription is not only to distinguish yin and yang,qi and blood,zang-fu organs,but also to differentiate prescription and syndrome.Different prescriptions are applied to different diseases,corresponding between prescription and syndrome often takes instant effect.When the diseases and syndromes are relatively complex,the combined use of multiple classical prescriptions can improve the clinical efficacy and expand the use range thereof.Three cases of hypersalivation,headache and abdominal pain are attached for verification.
