“回顾与前瞻:新世纪加拿大华文文学”国际学术研讨会述评

An Overview of the International Academic Symposium,u Looking Back and Forward:Chinese-Canadian Literature in the New Centuryn

新世纪以来,加拿大华文文学呈现出蓬勃的发展态势,其创作成绩受到研究者关注。2022年9月17日至18日,由暨南大学海外华文文学与华语传媒研究中心、加拿大约克大学、温州大学人文学院、中国世界华文文学学会联合主办的“回顾与前瞻:新世纪加拿大华文文学”国际学术研讨会在暨南大学召开。与会代表围绕“跨国越界:华人流动及其书写”、“新世纪加拿大华文文学创作研究”、“新世纪加拿大华文文学与华语传媒研究”三个议题展开热烈讨论,加拿大华文作家张翎、陈河、曾晓文参会并发表创作谈,作家与研究者面对面共同探讨海外华文文学的历史经验与发展趋势。

Since the beginning of the new century,Chinese-Canadian literature has been prospering,its creative achievements claiming attention from scholars.From 17 to 18 September 2022,an International Academic Symposium,‘Looking Back and Forward:Chinese-Canadian Literature in the New Century’,was jointly held by Centre for Literatures in Chinese Overseas and Chinese—language Media Research,Jinan University,York University,Canada,School of Humanities,Wenzhou University,and China World Literatures in Chinese Association at Jinan University,that saw a heated discussion focusing on three issues of‘Crossing the Nations,the Drifting of the Chinese and Their Writing,’‘The Study of Literary Creation in Chinese-Canadian Literature in the New Century,'and‘Chinese-Canadian Literature in Chinese and the Chinese—language Media Studies in the New Century.’Chinese-Canadian writers Zhang Ling,Chen He and Zeng Xiaowen participated in the symposium and gave talks on their writing as writers and researchers held face-to—face discussions on the historical experience of literatures in Chinese overseas and their developmental trends.
