摘要
国际商务沟通中,参与者多为英语非本族语者,作为交流工具的英语是以BELF的形式被使用的。BELF已成为跨文化商务交际和ELF的研究热点,却没有给商务英语教学带来实质性改变。文章从BELF的概念产生开始,梳理了国内外BELF的相关研究,审视当前商务英语函电教学是否适合BELF的能力发展需要。从函电教学中写作评价、商务专业术语学习、语用意识及能力培养三个方面提出建议,以引发更多的思考与实践。
In international business communication,most of the participants are non-native speakers of English.English,as the means of communication,is used as BELF.Though BELF has become a hot research spot in intercultural business communication and ELF,it has little influence on business English teaching.Starting from the concept of BELF,this article conceptualizes some relevant research on BELF at home and abroad,and examines whether the teaching of business English correspondence can develop one's BELF competence.In order to arouse more thinking and practice,it proposes some suggestions on business correspondence teaching from three aspects:the assessment of students'business correspondence writing;the learning of business specialized vocabulary;the cultivation of pragmatic awareness and pragmatic competence.
