农村家庭杠杆对养老保险参保选择的影响——基于CHFS的实证分析

Influence of Rural Household Leverage on the Choice of Pension Insurance

家庭杠杆是农村居民养老保险参保决策的经济约束条件,研究发现,是否存在家庭杠杆、家庭杠杆持续性对农民参保意愿和缴费档次选择的影响显著为负;家庭杠杆率与农民参保选择呈现“U形”关系,在家庭杠杆率低于一定水平时,其提升会抑制农民参保和提高缴费档次,超过一定标准时,家庭杠杆率提升则会增强农民跨期消费偏好而促进其参保和提高缴费档次。通过交互项分析发现,自身健康水平提高会减弱家庭杠杆对参保选择的负向影响;家庭杠杆率对农民参保选择的影响受到养老金待遇水平的调节,养老金待遇水平较高时,跨期消费偏好提升使得家庭杠杆率对参保选择的影响由负转正。家庭杠杆对参保选择的影响存在地区异质性和性别异质性,农村女性参保意愿更容易受到家庭杠杆的影响。

Family leverage is an economic constraint for rural residents′ pension insurance decision-making. The study found that the existence and persistence of family leverage have a significant negative impact on farmers′willingness of insurance participation and the choice of payment grades. The choice of insurance participation presents a " U-shaped" relationship. When the household leverage ratio is lower than a certain level,the increase in the household leverage ratio will inhibit farmers from participating in insurance and improve the payment level. When the household leverage ratio exceeds a certain standard,the increase in the household leverage ratio will raise farmers′ intertemporal consumer preference and therefore promote its participation in insurance and improve the level of payment. Through the interaction term analysis,it is found that the improvement of one′s own health level will weaken the negative impact of household leverage on the choice of insurance participation;the impact of household leverage on farmers′ choice of insurance participation is regulated by the level of pension benefits. The increase in consumer preference in the future makes the impact of household leverage ratio on the choice of insurance change from negative to positive. The influence of family leverage on insurance selection has regional and gender heterogeneity. Rural women′s willingness to participate in insurance is more likely to be affected by family leverage.
