摘要
吕荧在20世纪40年代先后撰写了多篇莎学研究论文,为同时期从美学和文艺理论层面研究莎剧且有思想深度的研究者。同时,他还以诗体形式翻译了莎士比亚喜剧《仲夏夜之梦》。吕荧主张“美是观念”,客观是决定主观倾向性的前提条件。他的美学思想在《永恒的主题》《莎士比亚的诗》和翻译《仲夏夜之梦》中已见端倪。从美学层面看,莎剧在思想和艺术上植根于现实生活并最终超越了现实生活。《仲夏夜之梦》的美学意义则在于返回现实社会以后憧憬人类真正的自由和幸福。
In the 1940s,Lu Ying wrote several research papers on Shakespeare.As a scholar of profound thinking in his time,he studied Shakespeare's drama from the perspective of aesthetics and literary theories.He also translated Shakespeare's comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream in a poetic form.In his view,"Beauty is an idea",and objectivity is the prerequisite to determine the subjective tendency.His aesthetic thoughts have been reflected in his Eternal Theme,Shakespeare's Poems and his translation of A Midsummer Night's Dream.From the aesthetic point of view,Shakespeare's drama is rooted in the real life in thought and art,and finally surpasses the real life.The aesthetic significance of A Midsummer Night's Dream lies in the longing for true human freedom and happiness after returning to the real life.
