“双一流”建设是否促进了中国高校国际学术影响力——基于PSM-DID方法的实证研究

Research on the International Academic Influence of “Double First-class” Construction——An Empirical Test Based on PSM-DID Method

“双一流”建设是提升我国高等教育国际竞争力的重要举措,为高校提升自身的国际学术影响力提供了契机。通过双重差分倾向得分匹配法,可以找到“双一流”建设与高校国际学术影响力之间的关系。实证结果表明:“双一流”建设对高校的国际学术影响力具有促进效应,特别是在国际学术成果和学术合作交流等方面出现了不同程度的增长,但对高校学术质量的影响力仍然有限,且其政策效应具有一定的波动性。因此,我国高校要在新一轮“双一流”建设中加强国际学术交流,深化认识“双一流”政策的价值取向,并提高经费使用效率。

Using some relevant data and the double differential propensity score matching method,the effects of “double first-class” initiative in promoting global academic influences of China’s universities are empirically evaluated.It is found that, in terms of international academic achievements and academic cooperation and exchange, the “double first-class” initiative has a promoting effect on global academic influences of China’s universities.However, the influence of “double first-class”initiative on academic quality is still limited, and its effect on policy has fluctuation. In the future, in the new round of “double first-class” initiative, we need to strengthen international academic exchanges, build an academic evaluation system reflecting the world level, and strive to improve the interest coordination mechanism.
