译者主体性视角下的中医名言英译研究

Translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Mottoes from the Perspective of Translator’s Subjectivity

本文从译者主体性的角度出发,以《中医名言(汉英对照版)》一书为范例,从字词、句子、文化三个角度对译本中的部分例子进行了详尽的解读,提出了中医名言翻译中促进译者主体性发挥的三个方面,即正确解读古文词语的含义和用法,牢牢把握中英文表达方式的差异,深入挖掘中医名言的文化内涵,以期启发新时代背景下的中医翻译,促进中医药文化的对外传播。

Translators play an important role in the translation process and they affect the translation quality.From the perspective of the translator′s subjectivity,this paper takes Mottoes of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Chinese-English version)as an example and analyzes the translation from the dimensions of words,sentences and culture.It is found that there are three methods of promoting the translator′s subjectivity in the translation of TCM mottoes.It aims to inspire the TCM translation in the new era and promote cultural exchange.
